Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is your facility peanut-free?

Yes, we are indeed a peanut-free facility. However, we do produce products that contain almonds, pecans, cashews, walnuts, and coconuts.

  2. What if I do not have a store in my area?

You can always contact us directly via email and we would be more than happy to assist you.

  3. Why isn't there an expiration date on your Amazake Shakes?

This is because our Amazake Rice Shakes are now being distributed to stores frozen, so the time that it takes for our products to be received by the store and placed into their respective refrigerators will vary from store to store (and region to region) throughout the country, making it impossible for us to project an accurate expiration date on any given shipment. With that said, it is the stores' responsibility to date each product (approximately 30 days) from the time that they are placed into their respective refrigerator(s).

  4. How long does your Amazake stay fresh?

Our Amazake Rice Shakes will stay fresh for approximately 30 days refrigerated OR up to 1 year frozen. ****Please know that refrigerated shelf-life may vary by a few days.

  5. How long does your Mochi stay fresh?

Our Mochi Rice Squares will stay fresh for up to 4 months (120 days) refrigerated.

  6. Can Mochi be stored in the freezer?

Sure, but we feel it is best to store Mochi at refrigerated temperatures.

  7. Is it possible for the store locator to list a store that no longer carries your products?

Yes, unfortunately it is. We will try to update our store locator on a regular basis to ensure that the information on there is always accurate and up to date, but it is very difficult to keep track of every store in the country, especially when stores tend to add/drop products on a regular basis. In this particular instance, feel free to contact us and we will do our very best to assist you.

  8. Are your products non-GMO?

Yes, both our Amazake Rice Shakes and Mochi Rice Squares are indeed non-GMO products.

  9. Where do you get your organic brown rice?

We are proud to say that our organic brown rice is grown right here in California USA.
